Donovan Patton is an actor, musician, and television host best known for the Nickelodeon children’s television program Blue’s Clues. Donovan Patton continued to provide the voices for Mr. Reese on the Cartoon Network series Clarence and Bot on Team Umizoomi after the show ended.
Although Donovan is best known for playing Joe, the DreamWorks and Netflix original series Gabby’s Dollhouse, which was created by Traci Paige Johnson and Jennifer Twomey, also featured him in Nurse Jackie and Blue Bloods. Donovan Patton: Profession, Career
Donovan began filming in 2021 for the live-action, animated, interactive preschool series Gabby’s Dollhouse which premiered on Netflix on January 5, 2021. Traci Paige Johnson and Jennifer Twomey, who produced his previous program Blue’s Clues, produced him for DreamWorks Animation Television. On the adventures in Gabby’s Dollhouse, Laila Lockhart Kraner portrayed Gabby, and Donovan took on the role of Carat, one of her feline friends.
Donovan played the role of Joe from 2002 to 2006 in the live-action/animated preschool television series Blue’s Clues, which debuted on Nickelodeon’s Nick Jr. block on September 8, 1996. The show’s original host, Steve Burns, left in 2002, and Joe took over as host for the remaining episodes. The show centers on Blue, an animated blue-spotted dog that leaves pawprints and hints for the host and viewers to decipher in order to learn about her daily plans.
