Jo started her career in 2001 with ITV, a national independent television network and the primary rival of BBC. Jo served as a temporary weather presenter for ITV from 2006 until 2008. Before the station become regional in 2009, she served the Yorkshire, Granada, Tyne-Tees, and Border regions.
She moved from ITV Yorkshire in Leeds to ITV Granada in the nearby city of Manchester beginning in 2009. She has also frequently appeared on ITV shows that have nothing to do with the weather; in fact, one of Jo’s most recent episodes saw the presenter getting down and dirty on a Lancashire farm.
