On social media yesterday, Kevin Gates claimed to be “cousins” with his divorced wife Dreka.
When Kevin’s current girlfriend Jojo Zarur posted their video, Instagram user @1never change said that Kevin “looks like Dreka.”
Well, that post sparked a firestorm on social media. Most people had the suspicion that Kevin and Dreka, who are both from Mississippi, might actually be related, while some individuals thought Kevin was simply being sarcastic.
Kevin Gates was a part-time rapper in Louisiana at the time Dreka and he initially fell in love.
Dreka also made an effort to support Kevin’s rap career. She researched books about the music business and asked friends and acquaintances for help.
In addition, she tried to emulate the actions of other booking agents for Kevin.
