Kevin Selleck: Career

In 1993, Kevin and four of his friends founded the rock band Tonic, which features Emerson Hart as the main vocalist and rhythm guitarist, Jeff Ruso as the lead guitarist, Dan Lavery as the bass guitarist, and Dan Rothchild as the additional bass guitarist. The singles “Open Up Your Eyes” and “Soldier’s Daughter” from their debut album, “Lemon Parade,” entered the Billboard 200 and the Hot 100, respectively, and helped the album reach platinum status.
Kevin left the band in December 1996 as a result of an altercation with another band member and cited family issues.

After quitting Tonic, he attempted to start another band, but the endeavor failed and was short-lived.
