Cause of Lil Baby’s father’s death revealed: Atlanta shooting and death

According to reports, Lil Baby’s father was shot and died in his truck in Atlanta last year. There haven’t been many details released on his passing, and we are unable to independently verify the news.

If this is the case, The 4PF rapper did so for reasons that are perhaps best known to him. After his mixtape Perfect Timing was released in 2017, Lil Baby became well-known.

The song “Yes Indeed” (with Drake) debuted at number six on the Billboard Hot 100 and was featured on Lil Baby’s 2018 debut studio album Harder Than Ever, which was certified platinum by the RIAA.

His most well-known single, “Drip Too Hard” (featuring Gunna), reached number four on the Billboard Hot 100, and he later released two additional mixtapes in 2018, Drip Harder and Street Gossip, all of which peaked at number two on the US Billboard 200.

My Turn (2020), Lil Baby’s second studio album, has a three times platinum RIAA certification and reached the top spot on the Billboard 200. On the Hot 100, the song “We Paid” (with 42 Dugg) peaked at number ten. He released the song “The Bigger Picture” in June 2020, and it reached its Hot 100 high at position three.

The Voice of the Heroes, a joint album by Lil Baby and Chicago rapper Lil Durk, was released in 2021, and it quickly rose to the top of the Billboard 200.
