Noella Bergener, a recent addition to Real Housewives of Orange County, has filed for divorce from her spouse James Berenger.
James Jr., the couple’s two-year-old son, is subject to Noella’s request for joint legal and physical custody.
According to court records that The Sun was able to obtain, the reality star is asking James to provide spousal support and to cover her legal expenses.
The Bravo personality stated in the paperwork that she would permit James to see their son on occasion.
Noella Bergener said that she didn’t know anything about the couple’s finances, but she said she would give an update later.
According to a TMZ article from August, James Bergener was the first to apply to dissolve the couple’s one-year marriage.
The California house the model and the personal injury attorney once shared is no longer occupied. The lawsuit “blindsided” Noella, sources told the newspaper.
On June 28, 2020, Noella Bergener and James exchanged vows.
Days after learning of her ex-filing, her husband Noella filed for a formal separation and asked for joint custody of their child as well as spousal maintenance.
Noella Bergener stated in her filing that the separation was due to “irreconcilable differences” and gave the separation date as “to be determined.”
James was accused of owing a stunning $5.8 million in taxes one month prior to the filing.
James owes approximately $6 million in delinquent taxes, as was revealed in July, according to court records.
According to federal tax liens submitted in June and July, the accident lawyer owes the State of California a total of $5,896,343.04 for the calendar years 2018 and 2019.
Noella Bergener said that at the time, she was not aware of her husband’s enormous debt
“I was equally astounded and repulsed to learn a week before filming that it wasn’t from my husband. Since then, my marriage has been a constant source of conflict,” Noella wrote on Instagram.
“I am being extremely transparent about my path and considering every option to pay off my husband’s debts,” she stated.

The two once had a tight friendship, as seen on the ladies’ social media pages.
Months went by during which the ex-besties posted about one another, but Noella and Braunwyn were last mentioned in May.
According to an insider, Bravo tried Noella out before inviting her to join the cast.
