In the upcoming episode of The Family Chantel, Chantel Everett encounters yet another challenge after her estranged husband, Pedro Jimeno, terminates her cell phone service in the midst of their contentious divorce.

A new sneak peeks from Monday’s episode of the TLC series features Chantel saying, “The fact that he just switched off my phone pretty much validates that he wants nothing to do with me.”

After a five-day vacation, Chantel recounts that she came back to Atlanta only to find that Pedro had disconnected her phone, further disconnecting their line of communication.

No calls can be placed by me. In a confessional moment, she adds, “The only thing I could do was call the phone provider and find out that Pedro had terminated my subscription.

Chantel was talking to the carrier and Pedro was on the line, but it seemed like Pedro didn’t want to talk to his wife.

Chantel reveals that after their acrimonious breakup, her soon-to-be boyfriend wanted her to have “no access to the account or the phone number” and that he “didn’t want to talk to me.”

It’s complete bulls—t. She tells the cameras that he doesn’t want to speak to people like adults. “In the course of or after this divorce process.”

The couple from 90 Day Fiancé was married in 2016 after TLC documented the Dominican Republic native’s entry to the country on a K-1 visa.

In May, the couple decided to get a divorce. Pedro said that they had been apart since April 27 when he filed for divorce on May 26. Their marriage had “irretrievably broken,” the reality star claimed.

The registered nurse also discusses whether or not she and Pedro were ever destined to be together with her friend Destinee in the sneak peek.

During their journey to Panama, Chantel confesses to her friend

“I’m finding it difficult to believe that he ever loved me anymore.”

“I just think he’s reached a record low. Destinee responds, “I don’t even recognize him anymore.

According to Pedro, he “never believed this was going to happen between me and her” in his own personal interview.

Although he says he is “broken” at the breakup, he nonetheless decides to drop his wife from their shared phone plan.

In a previous episode, Chantel’s father, Thomas Everett, got into a heated confrontation with Pedro during which Pedro was accused of orchestrating a “marriage scam.”

“You requested my daughter’s hand in marriage,” I replied. Thomas said to his son-in-law, “I thought it was going to be [like] you’re all going to grow old together.

“Four or five years later, you’re all drifting apart. Now that I think about it, it might be a marriage scam.

I’ll tell you something, sir, if you think it was a marital fraud, I could have applied for citizenship three years ago,” Pedro retorted. I’m not concerned with citizenship.
