Ashlee Holmes-Malleo, the daughter of Jacqueline Laurita, a former cast member of RHONJ, recently announced her separation from Pete Malleo on Instagram.
Ashlee talked openly about how she is feeling after having her divorce officially finalized a month ago. I don’t want to talk about it much more right now.
For the time being, all I can say is that I gave it my all. I don’t necessarily think that everything happens for a reason, but I do think that if we let life lead us in that direction, everything that happens to us provides us the potential to grow and improve as people.
In the article, Holmes-Malleo also mentioned that this would be her first Mother’s Day as a single mother, however, she also expressed her gratitude for her relationship with Pete in light of their kid.
Cameron Hendrix Malleo, the former couple’s 5-year-old son, was born in August 2016. He is the reason I continually want to grow and heal, Ashlee wrote in her post.
Every year since I first saw him on the monitor at the doctor’s office, not just this year. He inspires me to improve. Always.
I turn to him whenever I feel like the darkness around me is engulfing me. I then reset. He is everything to me.

She continued by saying she would endure anything as long as she had Cam. “At the end of the day, nothing else matters as long as Cam is healthy, happy, loved, and protected.
And for this boy, I would willingly ride this rollercoaster indefinitely. Pete, I appreciate you helping me create Cam. Mother’s Day greetings.
In 2020, Ashlee made known that she and Pete had made a separation decision. When discussing her split at the time, she remarked, “I’ve been trying to find the perfect words to share this news.”
“I feel that it’s best for my healing process to just put it out there. It’s something that has been weighing quite heavily on my heart.”
Regardless of their divorce, according to Holmes-Malleo, she and Peter will always be partners in life.
“Pete has my unwavering support and my encouragement. His achievement is our son’s achievement. We are a family NOW and FOREVER.
We will ALWAYS support one another. That could never be broken by anything or anyone. Period.”
