Rosemary and John Candy had met one other on a blind date arranged by their mutual friends. The two had met one another in early 1979 and they started to date. Soon, the pair chose to walk down the aisle on 28th April 1979. The two lived a wonderful married life for roughly one and a half-decade before fate parted them away.

Unfortunately, John Candy died on 4th March 1994 in Durango, Mexico. He was shooting Wagons East for Carcolco Pictures at the time when he was found dead shortly after midnight on the 4th of March.

Durango government spokesman acknowledged that John had died of a heart attack even though an autopsy was not performed. He died at the age of 43. A Carolco spokesman published a statement that reads,

“We are all devastated by the demise of this incredibly lovely and accomplished man. John Candy was a terrific performer, a beautiful human being, and one of the most respected actors in the motion picture and TV industry. For this to happen near the end of the filming of ‘Wagons East’ makes it extremely personal for all of us.”
