How Did Rachel Shoaf and Shelia Eddy Kill Their Friend?
On July 6, a little after midnight, Skylar Neese left the house she shared with her parents. Through the window of her room, she had secretly left her family’s house.
She wasn’t allowed to come back. Later, her father noted that she most likely meant to return that evening because she did not pack a charger for her phone, as she typically did anytime she anticipated spending more than a few hours away from home, and because she also left her bedroom window open.
Many months after her murder, Neese’s remains were discovered in a little burial. This happened when Rachel Shoaf admitted to carrying out the horrific murder of Neese with Sheila Eddy.
They had enticed Skylar Neese to hang out with them that night, according to Shoaf’s testimony to the police. Despite Neese’s initial resistance, they persisted, and after numerous texts and phone calls, she finally gave in to their demands and joined them.
They traveled to a remote location near the Pennsylvania state line after picking her up in Eddy’s car, where the three of them had previously gone to smoke and hang out.
The two females deceived Skylar into thinking she was going back to get something from the car after they left, but as soon as she turned around, they attacked and began stabbing her. She fought them off in vain and eventually perished.
Since the land was rocky and they couldn’t dig a grave, Shelia Eddy and Rachel Shoaf then had Neese’s body covered with tree branches.
After cleaning up the crime scene as best they could and changing into clean clothes they had brought there in advance, the two girls who had been plotting the murder for months returned to their respective houses.

Who are Shelia Eddy’s parents?
Tara Clendenen is Shelia Eddy’s mother, and Greg Eddy is her father.
Shoaf explained that they simply did not like Skylar Nesse when questioned why they committed the act. However, other close friends suggested that Shoaf’s growing friendship with Eddy, who had been Neese’s only friend since infancy until Shoaf met them, may have been the main reason for the ladies’ falling out.
Some even went so far as to claim that Neese had discovered Shoaf and Eddy having secret lesbian relations, which would have exacerbated the conflict between the girls.

Rachel Shoaf and Sheila Eddy are found guilty
After being admitted to the hospital for a panic episode, Rachel Shoaf made her confession. Which probably occurred as a result of Eddy and herself becoming more and more the focus of the murder investigations.
She turned herself in and admitted to conspiring with Sheila Eddy to conduct the crime. After entering a guilty plea to second-degree murder, she was given a sentence of 30 years in jail with the chance of parole after 10 years. 2013 saw the sentencing of both women.
Sheila Eddy persisted in denying any connection. Even after Neese was reported missing, she participated in the hunt for her and shared pictures of the two of them on social media to give the idea that everything was going well between them before Neese vanished.
