Pearl Fernandez

Some contend that Pearl Fernandez wasn’t given the proper punishment for her role in her son Gabriel Fernandez’s death.

According to the terms of her plea agreement, Pearl acknowledged that the intentional torture used to kill her son Gabriel was done so.

Anyone would be in tears after seeing the months-long torment of young Gabriel.

Isauro Aguirre, Pearl’s boyfriend, however, acquired apathy and remained emotionless throughout his trial.

Due to his involvement in Gabriel’s murder, he received a death sentence for first-degree murder under particular circumstances of torture.

According to reports, Pearl Fernandez is having a terrible time while incarcerated in California

“I want to say I’m sorry to my family for what I did… I wish Gabriel was alive,” Pearl said before her sentencing. “Every day I wish that I made better choices.”

Pearl accepted a plea agreement that offered her life in jail without the chance of parole in exchange for saving her from the hangman’s noose.

Internet rumors claim that Pearl is having a miserable time in jail. According to reports, Pearl is not an exception to the harsh treatment meted out to criminals who have molested children.

“Pearl Fernandez is in my mom’s prison where she works and she’s been getting her ass beat,” an unconfirmed tweet reads.

“My cousins co-worker worked at the jail Pearl Fernandez is at and said she got her ass whooped three times and had to be isolated,” another tweet reads.

According to the most recent allegations, Pearl is still being tortured in custody. If she feels that her life is in danger, she can request a transfer, but prison officials rarely approve it.

Internet users are pleased that Pearl is struggling while incarcerated. During Pearl’s sentencing, the court remarked, “I hope that you think about the agony you caused this child and that it tortures you.”

A judge rejected Pearl’s request for a new sentencing hearing

Pearl Fernandez submitted a request for a new judgment in April 2021, insisting that she didn’t kill Gabriel.

According to Pearl, she “did not, with the intent to kill,” help, abet, counsel, direct, induce, solicit, request, or assist the actual killer in committing first-degree murder.

According to Fernandez, due to changes in state law, she could not have been found guilty of a first- or second-degree crime.

Judge George G. Lomeli of the Superior Court denied the application. She contested Pearl’s claim that she didn’t actively take part in the crime.

The judge declared, “It has been proven by her own admission during the course of her plea that the murder was intentional and involved the inflicting of torture over a period of several months.” He reminded Fernandez that when she pleaded guilty, she forfeited her right to appeal.

Jonathan Hatami, a deputy district attorney, opposed the application and afterward tweeted that the court made the right judgment. From Jonathan’s tweet:

“The true measure of our community can be found in how we treat our children. I will always stand up and fight for our most vulnerable. Justice was served today.”

Pearl’s application was unlikely to be approved considering how judge Lomeli had described her actions at sentencing.

You want to call the behavior “animalistic,” but it is incorrect because even animals know how to care for their young. According to Lomeli, the behavior was “beyond animalistic.”
