Tyson C. Beckford is an American citizen and a Sagittarius by birth sign. He was born on December 19, 1970, in Rochester, New York State. His father, Lloyd Beckford, was of Chinese and Afro-Jamaican ancestry, while his mother, Hillary Dixon Hall, was of Afro-Jamaican origin.
Although Tyson was born in Rochester, his mother requested that the family return to Jamaica, where they had previously resided for seven years, because several family members and acquaintances could assist them.
