Parents George Morgan Jr. and Lora Morgan welcomed Deborah Ann Morgan into the world on September 20, 1956, in Dunn, North Carolina, in the United States.

In 1971’s comedy-crime picture Cry Uncle, starring Olga Winter, Debbi Morgan made her acting and cinematic debuts.
Since then, she has had numerous film appearances, including in the films Eve’s Bayou, The Hurricane, Love and Basketball, Coach Carter, Asunder, Woman Thou Art Loosed, Mandingo, She’s All That, Color of the Cross, and A Royal Family Christmas.
Additionally, she co-starred in the 2016 documentary film Toni Braxton: Unbreak My Heart with Toni Braxton, Tiffany Hines, Lex Scott Davis, and Tiffany.
