The only son of Eugene and William Devane is Joshua. Joshua made the same professional decision as his father and chose to work in Hollywood. His performances in 18 Again! (1998), Blind Witness (1989), and Timestalkers have earned him recognition (1987).
Joshua may have found it relatively simple to break into the business thanks to his father’s reputation and goodwill, but there is no doubt that Joshua’s talent and ability paved the way.
Joshua, however, is less involved in the entertainment sector than his father was in 2016.
William and Eugenie were wed in 1961
Eugenie and William were college sweethearts before they got married. Following their graduation, William popped the question to Eugenie, and the two were wed in 1961.
Since then, despite going through difficult times, they have been able to maintain their connection. They haven’t even been affected by any divorce rumors for more than five and a half years.
Since making his acting debut as a revolutionary in the independently made film In the Country, William has been involved in the business (1967).
