The date took place in The Box, a well-known nightclub in New York City. Because she had the hope that she might “meet the love of [her] life]” there that evening, she put up with everything the place had to offer.
She tried her hardest to talk to him, but she was unsuccessful. He didn’t seem to care at all about her, which was why.
Everything changed when they went to a different bar. He started to focus on her when he noticed a change in the surroundings. But when her friends started fighting, the entire club got involved, and things took a terrible turn. She and her friends were expelled from the bar as a result.
After the evening was over, she and the man broke up as friends and stopped dating.

He made an insulting and dubious joke as they drove passed a couple of strip clubs on the way there. After an uneasy period of traveling, they made the decision to go back home. Even though she was merely attempting to get rid of him, he insisted on dropping her off at her place, so she gave in.
He then proposed that since he was unable to locate her apartment, they go back to his house. He added that if his mother came back to his house, he could make her breakfast. She rejected the suggestion.
They managed to return to her home, where he claimed to forget how to go back to his own house. He consequently arrived at her unfurnished apartment because she was poor.
He started messing with her possessions before she could get him out of her room. But ultimately she succeeded in ejecting him. He was still convinced that they had a special bond despite having only spoken to each other briefly a few weeks before. But regrettably, it was all fantasy on his part.
